Wow, what a year! It’s safe to say there’s been plenty of rethinking in the last 12 months. To wrap things up, we’re sharing our five most-clicked resources of 2020. We’re so excited to see our readers’ eagerness and interest in rethinking high school!
This is our last Give Me Five issue of 2020 (sad). But we’ll be back with a new suite of tools, resources, and materials in 2021 (exciting)! 4. CHANGE Reinventing Our Schools With Equity in Mind
Instead of “getting back to normal,” we should see schools reopening as an opportunity for a “do-over.”
Why it matters: If we continue focusing on “getting back to normal,” marginalized students will still be marginalized. When it comes to justice, equity, and supporting all students, we need a “do-over” in our education system. It is the change our students need and deserve.

XQ X-tra Introducing the XQ Challenge! 🎉
On December 14th, we’re launching the very first XQ Challenge! XQ Challenges engage students in creative learning experiences that award badges for completing the work. All students ages 13-21 interested in learning, discovering, and nurturing their passions are welcome to participate!
